The Orange County Public Schools Baseball & Softball Academy at Cheney Elementary provides students with a unique opportunity to combine rigorous academics with elite athletic development. Through a specialized educational environment, students receive individualized academic support while developing baseball and softball skills, leadership qualities, character, and confidence.

The Academy is designed for students who aspire to excel both academically and athletically while learning the values of teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

Baseball & Softball Microschool Tryouts

Open to rising 3rd-5th grade student-athletes interested in becoming part of Cheney Elementary's Baseball & Softball Microschool.
*Completed physical required to participate
